A new transformer for the building is being installed through out the night. Power should be returned by 6am on Thursday, April 11th. Please make sure to turn off any computers, or any other equipment you are using, when you leave for the day, as an abrupt power shut off may damage them.

The Equipment Room will be open during Spring Break, but it will be operating on a skeleton staff. All check-outs and check-ins that have already been submitted will be honored at your scheduled appointments. If you plan on traveling to campus to do walk-in business with the Film Operations Desk it would be wise to call ahead or email us to verify that someone will be in the room to service any requests you may have.
The BFA Production Wing will continue to be open for all students enrolled in a production class, including the Production Lab, but we will be rotating new images onto to the editing workstations so please understand that some of the computers will be out of service through out the week.

We hope you all enjoy your time off for the holidays! The Spring semester starts this Monday, January 7th.
To regain entry into the BFA Production Wing you will need to stop by the Film Operations Desk located in the Film Equipment Room | Comm-157 and have your UCF ID programmed for entry. The Film Equipment Room is open Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 5:00pm.
UCF Card Services is asking that all students and faculty with an ISO number that beings with “5857″ on their UCF ID to come by the UCF Card Services Office and get an updated ID card for free. It is strongly suggested that you do this prior to having your card programmed for access this semester.

The BFA Production Wing is closed to all undergraduate students until January 9th. You will be required to have your UCF ID card rescanned to gain entry for the Spring Semester. Access card scanning sessions will be posted on Wednesday, January 2nd. For more information about facility access and access cards please vist our Access Cards & Keys page.
Staring Wednesday, December 12th, Equipment Room will be operating under a skeleton crew until Monday, January 7th. Because of this, the door will not always be open as we deal with various department projects and responsibilities. The university as a whole will be ceasing normal operations at 12:30pm, Thursday, October 4th due to the football home game against East Carolina University. This includes all of SVAD, the Film Division, and Film Operations. Please make note that the Film Equipment Room will be closing its doors at 12:30pm and will not reopen for business until 8:30am, Friday, October 5th. Go Knights!

Please be advised that Film Operations and the Equipment Room will be closed on Monday, May 28th in observance of Memorial Day. We will be reopening at 9am on Tuesday, May 29th.
