In an effort to better facilitate the learning of effective casting and to help students find talented, trained professional actors to appear in their films, the Film Program at the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design has partnered with Truthful Acting Studios to host a General Casting Call at the start of every Fall semester. This year’s General Casting Call event will take place on Saturday, September 10th on the UCF main campus in the Nicholson School of Communication building. This event begins at 10am and ends at 6pm.

The 2016-2017 Fall semester Production Meet & Greet is Friday, September 9th from 4pm – 6pm in the Film Sound Stage | NSC 181.

At the start of the Fall and Spring semesters the Film Program at the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design hosts a Production Meet & Greet to help student filmmakers find crew members for their upcoming productions. It is like a jobs fair for UCF student film projects. This event also serves as a great opportunity for students to meet new friends and similarly minded individuals to collaborate with on future creative projects.
