Fall Showcase

Fall Showcase OP

Description

Once a year the Film Program at the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design hosts the Fall Showcase – A retrospective of short films that will expose viewers to the groundbreaking world of independent, micro-budget cinema. Some of the finest examples from the previous year’s crop of  student films, and some select choices from years prior, are brought together for a single night of celebration each Fall Semester. The primary function of this event is to put UCF Film’s best foot forward with a curated exhibition of some of our strongest work to date.

How To Participate

All students are strongly encouraged to attend the screening in support of their fellow classmates (nothing beats a packed house during a communal screening).

The student films that are selected each year were official productions from previous academic years and are done so by a committee of faculty, students, and staff. Students expressing interest on serving on this committee should contact Zachary Beckler for more information.

The 8th Annual Fall Showcase (2017-2018) has been scheduled for Friday, November 3rd at 7pm in the Visual Arts Building Auditorium, Room 132. Doors Open at 6:30pm.
