An advanced screening of our 2nd year student’s Directing 2 short films.
Every year, the Film Program at the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design produces over 100 student films. Our annual exhibition events provide advance screenings of our student work before they are sent out to compete at festivals and showcases all over the world.
How To Participate
All students are strongly encouraged to attend the screening in support of their fellow classmates (nothing beats a packed house during a communal screening).
These student films are produced as assigned projects in the Film, BFA Directing 2 class. A committee of students from that class, chosen by faculty, assemble a playlist for the exhibition event as well as design a poster and a program. All of this media is turned in at the end of the Fall semester to Film Operations who handles the logistics of the actual exhibition.
The 2016-2017 Directing 2 Screener is confirmed for Saturday, February 4th 2017 at 7pm in the Visual Arts Building Auditorium, VAB 132. Doors open at 6:30pm.
