A new disk image has been deployed to all iMac editorial workstations in the SVAD Graduate Lab at the UCF Center for Emerging Media. This includes moving to OS X El Capitan (10.11.4) and the latest versions of Adobe Creative Cloud (Release 2015.2) and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve (12.3.2), amongst other improvements.

All PC workstations have also been updated to Adobe Creative Cloud (Release 2015.2) and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve (12.3.2).

This includes moving to OS X El Capitan (10.11.3) and the latest versions of Adobe Creative Cloud (Release 2015.2) and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve (12.3.1), amongst other improvements. CEM editorial workstations will receive this update in the upcoming weeks.

Adobe Creative Cloud desktop applications have been deployed on all Film Production Lab and Capstone Editing Suite workstations. All users are encouraged to upgrade their current Premiere Pro CS6 projects to Premiere Pro CC projects if they are not also using CS6 on their home computers to edit their projects. This can be easily done by opening their CS6 project files in Premiere Pro CC and following the prompts (when asked, be sure to make a back up of your CS6 project file before doing this, just incase there is a migration error). Premiere Pro CC is now the default application for all .prproj files, so double clicking a project file will always open the project in CC. If you do not wish to upgrade your project file to work in CC at this time, just cancel out of the conversion process.
